GNSG Surrey Museum Heritage Project: Shout-out to youth volunteers

Are you interested in the history of the Sikh community in Surrey?
Are you willing to learn new skills in videography, archiving, collections and others relevant to arts and culture?
Are you willing to spare 10-15 hours a month this year towards this project?
Are you aged between 15-24 years and want additional credits and recognition?

If you have answered yes to the above questions then we have a perfect program for you.

With the passing of their 30 year anniversary in Surrey, BC, the Guru Nanak Sikh Gurdwara is embarking on an exciting new project in partnership with the Surrey Museum.

Sikhs in Surrey have a long-standing history in the community and have contributed to much of the rich diversity of the city.
This exciting new project will serve to recruit local youths to collect stories and artifacts that illustrate the roots and comprehensive history of local Sikhs.

In addition to learning awesome new skills and interacting with youth from your age group, you will receive and honorarium, reference letter and credits for this work.
